SITE PREP REQUIREMENTS

Your shed must be built on a stable base to hold the load of the shed structure as well as whatever will be stored inside.

Site Preparation and Guidelines

Site Preparation and Debris Clearance

Site must be clear of all debris. Our Delivery/Install personnel will not set a building on brush, trash, or in tall uncut grass. It is important for the delivery person to be able to access all four sides of the building. We are not responsible to move obstacles on or in the path to the site. Please have these items cleared prior to our arrival.

Site Leveling and Foundation

Site for building shall be reasonably level. It is not the responsibility of the delivery/Install personnel to prepare the site/area for the building. Pressure treated runners are built into the floor of the portable sheds which are engineered to be set directly on the ground, however for buildings over 150 sq.feet we recommend a site prepared with a gravel or crushed concrete base.

Clearance and Obstacle Check

It is your, the customer’s, responsibility to check for low hanging electrical lines and wires, as well as low hanging tree branches leading to the site. Please remove branches in question prior to our arrival.

Weather and Space Considerations

SE Yard Solutions LLC is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your property or the building due to weather conditions or other circumstances, such as less than adequate space for delivery/Install. Ideally we need 3′ of clearance on both sides of the building to be able to install it without incident.

Permits and Compliance

All variances, zoning and building permits are the full responsibility of the customer.

Leveling Guidelines and Warranty

We do not recommend under any circumstances to block a shed more then 12” out of level. If a shed is set on blocks that total more then 12” tall, we reserve the right to rescind and void any and all warranties. We have solutions that will work better and mitigate the safety concerns if you need to put a shed in a spot that is more then 12” out of level.
